1993 let loose from SPV, a double live album featuring 20 tracks recorded live at the Belly Up Tavern at Solana Beach in California, without interrupti~ May 10th, 1993. Includes many of Burdon's hits through War & the Animals. Burdon's vocals are gutty, crude and funky as you can obtain. He's tremendous!! Brian flat gets into disfavor with some great solos. Fantastic guitar work. I rank it with Edgar Winter's Roadwork and Bob Seger's 'Live Bullit' albums with regard to kick-butt energy and showmanship. Sure it's principally old Animal songs but they were not at any time performed like this before. WOW!!!
